About me

Oriol Rod

Creative by vocation, born in Barcelona and living in the countryside, near the sea.

Art and design have always been with me, through different jobs and ventures, leading me to discover and enjoy many disciplines: printmaking, drawing, painting, interior design, graphic design, screen printing, ceramics, fashion, photography... This has given me the chance to live, learn and cross paths with all kinds of experiences and projects in a very free and independent way.

Oriol Rod Studio is the open space where I want to reimagine and let be born all the ideas that come my way, each with that small reason that gives it meaning, so they find their place, accompany, and complete their circle.

My brand

Oriol Rod Studio is the personal brand that brings together all my designs and artistic creations:

• Original illustrations on t-shirts, sweatshirts and bags (Stanley/Stella, a sustainable brand), and embroidery on organic cotton beanies (Beechfield).
• Fashion and functional accessories (SENSE NU by Oriol*), made in my studio with eco-friendly fabrics, in limited editions.
• Reproductions on paper and fabric of my drawings and illustrations.
• Artwork: original paintings.

I only choose suppliers that meet every requirement for organic, natural and vegan materials, sustainable and ethical manufacturing processes, and official certifications.

Philosophy

Illustrations applied to garments and textiles, exploring the symbolism of ancient cultures and nature, with the intention of reconnecting in harmony with the earth and with those around us.

Accessories and complements that cleanly offer small solutions combining harmony, aesthetics, practicality and functionality. Lower-impact by design, they avoid toxic or polluting materials such as synthetics, plastics, metals, zippers, or anything of animal origin. The goal is to create biodegradable and compostable products.

In art, I am moved by the chance to bring calm, color harmony, and rest to spaces and to time.

To offer a conscious, responsible alternative for more personal consumption.

The studio

I will be showing the physical space as it takes shape. It will be wide, open, with a large window, and a central table surrounded by its different functional areas.

I will regularly present new ideas and proposals.
